A Little About One Savvy NP

I am Renita Sanders, Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Professor of Nursing with the goals of serving my community and students!

 

I started off as just a girl from the Southside of Chicago with a hope and a dream. After years of education teaching experience I developed a love to help others achieve their goals. I believe that everybody have what it takes but sometimes they just need a little assistance along the way.

 

I remember being a student and felt that no one understood my struggle. I felt that I was on the journey alone. I began to think how helpful it would have been to have a mentor outside of my college.

 

So here I am :)

 

Since 2012, I’ve been working as a nursing career coach who specializes in helping people get the most out of their nursing education and nursing career. There are a number of routes to take in the world of nursing. I know because I was once lost and confused. Not only as a nurse but also as a nursing student.

 I coach my clients in a way that utilize their knowledge and their passion to direct them when they hit a roadblock. The techniques I developed were so successfully family began to ask me to help with their non-nursing careers. This motivated me to turn my newfound passion into a career.
